Community Foundation Awards Over $11,000 in Grants
Community Foundation DeKalb County is excited to announce its most recent Community Grantmaking recipients. The grants funded demonstrate the Foundation’s commitment to nonprofits that provide substantial benefits for the county and its residents. A total of $11,179.84 was granted to three organizations.
Grants Awarded:
- DeKalb Area Schools at Home (D.A.S.H) — $3,179.84 for relaunching its choir.
- Science Central — $5,000 for Science4U programming for DeKalb County students.
- Super Shot, Inc — $3,000 for immunization services for DeKalb County residents.
“Each grant is an investment in our community and the organizations serving DeKalb County,” said Tanya Young, Executive Director & CEO of Community Foundation DeKalb County, “These grants help support work that makes a difference across the county.”
