Allison Carnahan grew up in DeKalb County. She graduated from Eastside High School before earning her B.S. in Business Administration from Trine University and an MBA from Indiana Tech. Upon graduating from college, Allison began working at Indiana Tech as an Admissions Counselor. During her fourteen years on staff, she held various leadership positions including Director of Admissions and Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Life. In 2013, Allison joined the staff of County Line Church of God as the Director of Operations.
It was during the time at Indiana Tech that Allison developed a passion for the value of not only education but strong non-profits and communities. She has enjoyed serving as a Junior Achievement volunteer and a Science Central Board Member. It is terrific to see how these organizations enhance the lives and communities of those they serve. Allison joined the Community Foundation board in order to help serve her community for the needs of the future.
Allison and her husband, Chad, have three children, and their family resides in rural Saint Joe. She shared, “It is wonderful to see how our children are enjoying many of the same opportunities that we did as kids, but it is also exciting to see how our community is dynamic enough to serve the needs of the future as well. We are proud to be part of a such a great place!”
