Community Foundation Announces Giving Tuesday DeKalb Results
Giving Tuesday DeKalb is a community-wide fundraising initiative that encourages residents to support local nonprofits by growing their endowment funds at the Community Foundation DeKalb County. This year’s Giving Tuesday DeKalb was a success, with more than $83,000 donated to strengthen long-term sustainability and impact for nonprofit and charitable organizations across DeKalb County.
“Giving Tuesday DeKalb began six years ago with a simple vision: to strengthen our community by coming together in generosity,” said Tanya Young, Executive Director. “This year’s response has been extraordinary. Thanks to our dedicated donors and partners, we’re equipping nonprofits with the resources they need to drive meaningful, lasting change. DeKalb County continues to show what’s possible when we unite around a shared commitment to our future.”
