Thomas P Mason, MD, FAAF

Dr. Mason earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with Honors from Purdue University before receiving his Doctor of Medicine degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. Committed to providing comprehensive care for individuals and families, he completed his Family Medicine residency through the Fort Wayne Medical Education Program, where he served as Co-Chief Resident during his final year.

Following residency, Dr. Mason established his Family Medicine practice in Auburn, Indiana, in 1998 and has proudly served the community ever since. In December 2021, he and his staff joined Parkview Physicians Group, where he continues to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care with a focus on caring for patients and families throughout every stage of life.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Mason is actively involved in healthcare leadership. He serves on the Parkview DeKalb Hospital Board and has held numerous leadership positions within the medical staff, including serving as Past President of the Medical Staff.

Dr. Mason has also been dedicated to providing hospice care to the DeKalb County community since 2015. As a physician with Parkview Hospice, he provides compassionate, high-quality care that supports patients and their families through end-of-life care with dignity and comfort.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Mason enjoys spending time with his wife and son. He remains actively involved with his local Boy Scout troop, St. Michael’s Parish in Waterloo, and enjoys camping and other outdoor activities.
