Thomas P Mason, MD, FAAF

Dr Mason attended Purdue University for his undergraduate education and graduated with a BS in Chemistry with Honors. Dr Mason then attended Indiana University School of Medicine where he obtained his Medical Doctor degree. Wanting to make an impact to families, Dr Mason received his post graduate residency in Family Medicine at Fort Wayne Medical Education Program.  During his final year at this program, Dr Mason was Co-Chief Resident for the program.

During his final year at this program, Dr Mason was Co-Chief Resident for the program. After his residency, Dr Mason established his practice in Family Medicine in 1998 in Auburn Indiana where he continues to practice. IN December 2021, Dr Mason, along with his staff, joined Parkview Physicians Group (PPG) and continues to enjoy Family Medicine where he specializes in caring for families.

He currently serves on the Parkview DeKalb Hospital Board. In addition Dr Mason has served many positions on the Medical Staff and is currently President-elect for the Medical Staff.

In addition to his Family Medicine office, Dr Mason was a Team Physician with Heartland Hospice (ProMedica) from 2015 – 2021. While working there, he utilized his knowledge and experience to provide compassionate care for patients who are appropriate for hospice care.

In his spare time, he continues to be involved with his wife and son while participating in Boy Scouts, Kiwanis, church activities, and camping.
