Kelli Ward brings a wealth of experience in DeKalb County’s nonprofit and community service sectors. After serving in the United States Coast Guard, she returned to Northeast Indiana, where she worked as a fitness instructor and childcare provider with the YMCA, a Youth Services Librarian at the Waterloo Grant Township Public Library, and Recreation Manager for the City of Auburn Parks and Recreation Department. Kelli holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports and Recreation Management.

 

With a passion for community wellness, engagement, and meaningful work, Kelli is excited to serve as Program Associate at Community Foundation Dekalb County. She is dedicated to supporting local nonprofits and strengthening the community she calls home.

 

Outside of work, Kelli enjoys spending time outdoors with her four children, hiking, traveling, and participating in group fitness. She is also a Taekwondo black belt and enjoys practicing martial arts alongside her children.
