Hailey Carmer LaMaster

Hailey Carmer LaMaster is a graduate of Butler University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education. Hailey has spent 16 years teaching Spanish at Prairie Heights High School. During the last five years, she was also the Coordinator of English Language Learners for the entire school district. As coordinator, Hailey worked with the non-English speaking community to increase parental involvement and improved communication between the school and the families.

In addition to the many years she spent as an educator, Hailey brings leadership experience from various local, regional, and state committees, including representing the northeastern region of Indiana at the Indiana State Teacher’s Association Governance Committee. Hailey has a passion for education and improving community engagement and is looking forward to becoming more involved in the community here in DeKalb County.

Hailey and her husband, Jeff, live in Auburn. They love to spend time with family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling.
